The International Society for Infectious Diseases held its first ever conference in India at Hyderabad on 2nd-5th March 2016. DSIN was a premier sponsor for this event. The conference, entitled "17th International Congress on Infectious Diseases", encompassed all aspects of human infections including the diagnosis and treatment of bacterial diseases (childhood pneumonia, CRE, drug-resistant tuberculosis, etc.), HIV, viral hepatitis, dengue, malaria, encephalitis, visceral lieshmanaiasis, and antifungal prophylaxis and treatment.
